1 How do you think we will get to other star systems like our own? (If we traveled at the speed of light, the nearest star with planets that we know of is 10.5 light-years away.)

I have almost zero knowledge about space science or any science in general. With all my imagination, we will be able to invent a new technology that allows humans or any organism to break down into atoms and recreate in other places. For example, even though I’m sitting in a chair at my house, if I used the device, called “Let’s be atoms,” to scan myself and then set the destination to my wish, I would be there in a minute. As a premise, we have already succeeded in traveling at the speed of light. All we need to do is send one part of the machine to the planet that is placed in other star systems by the spaceship, and we send human atom data through the machine from Earth, then recreate humans on different planets. Disregarding the challenges and issues involved in the invention process, this method would be highly efficient for overcoming the difficulties of space transport. We may fail to recreate humans with the original figures; perhaps we might become a new species. Which means, will we be the aliens?

2 What is the scariest alien movie?

A Quiet Place is the scariest alien movie to me. This movie grabs your attention from the beginning. How the family was still surviving with small children in an extremely intense situation, and you knew immediately what was going to happen when you saw the child dropping a loud toy on the ground. You would feel a shiver at the facial expression of the parents. If you watch this movie alone with headphones, and then someone comes from behind you to call you, you will jump out of the window the moment someone touches your shoulder.

２一番恐ろしいエイリアン映画はなんですか？

『クワイエットプレイス』が私にとって一番恐ろしい映画です。この映画は冒頭から観客の心を掴みます。小さな子供連れでどのようにしてあの厳しい状況を生き抜いてきたのか、そして観客は子供が大きな音のするおもちゃを地面に落とすシーンを見た瞬間に、その後何が起こるのかすぐに把握するのです。その時の両親の表情に身ぶるいするはずです。もしヘッドフォンで一人でこの映画を見ているときに誰かが後ろから呼びかけてきて、肩に触れたならその瞬間に驚いて窓から飛び降りてしまうでしょう。

3 If aliens did come to your country and met with the government, what do you think would happen?

If aliens come to my country, I expect the Japanese government to give them warm hospitality, the same as they do to other countries. Introduce them to our culture and exchange information about each other’s nations while serving the highest quality Matcha tea. Although I’m concerned about whether they would like the taste of Matcha or not, because I never liked it personally. If we successfully establish a friendly cooperative relationship with them, that would be ideal. I could hardly wait to see them.

３もしもエイリアンがあなたの国を訪れて政府と面会をしたならば、何が起こると思いますか？

もしエイリアンが私の国に来たら、他の国にするように温かなおもてなしをする事を期待します。最高級の抹茶を堪能してもらいつつ、私たちの文化を紹介し、お互いの情報を交換するのです。ただ個人的には抹茶を好まないので、抹茶の味を気に入ってもらえるかどうかが心配です。彼らと友好的な関係を築けたとしたらそれは理想的です。エイリアンに会うのが待ちきれません！
